Over 50 designs selected for Xiamen International CowParade

On 5th March 2010, after 3 hours, the adjudication panel of the Xiamen International CowParade chose over 50 excellent design works out of over 100 works for the Xiamen International CowParade.

The adjudication panel of the Xiamen International CowParade consists of Xuli from Xiamen Literature Association, Yu Guohua from the Xiamen Arts and Design College of Fuzhou University, Wang Xinlun from Fine Arts College of Jimei University, Xiamen sculpture artist Min Yiming, Kang Bing from Xiamen University of Technology's Fine Arts College, Wu Ronghua from Fine Arts College of Xiamen University, and Zheng Jianfei from Xiamen Cultural Creative Industry Association.
The organizing committee of the Xiamen International CowParade said that within two months since the selection, they have received hundreds of design works from Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Even some artists from abroad sent their works to them too.
With the theme of "Creating characteristic Chinese cow sculptures", the Xiamen International CowParade is jointly held by Taiwan and Xiamen. It is also the first cooperation in cultural and creative industries between the two sides. It will be held in Xiamen on 8th April 2010.
