A Kappa female staff surnamed Huang who became an online sensation after posting a homemade pornographic film of herself on the internet has been detained in Shanghai, according to state media, Xinhua News Agency.

Going by her Internet username LU Jiani (Β½ΌΡΔέ), the girl are seeking legal advice. She said, “Regarding my video, I sought advice from a lawyer. It does not seem like I broke the law! Those who are spreading my video, and disseminating my news are breaking the law”.

With the instant fame and facing barrages of nuisances, the girl has since left her place of employment at the Kappa Fashion Store in Shanghai. “I have already left that place, Orient Shopping Centre’s Kappa [store] can only be one of my memories! Hope those who care about me, who are paying attention to me, as well as those who want to “enjoy the show and swear at me can be at peace” she said.

She advises her fans to stop bothering the store as she is no longer there. “Do not continue going to the department store pretending to be serious, loitering around and trying to peek that empty space” she said.

Looking to her future, she is waiting for some advertizing or staring contracts. She said, “Either way, I still look good on the screen, who knows what director will look for me to make a film later on! I must become famous as soon as possible”.

Pornography is illegal in China. Beijing lawyer Lu Heping said: "Anyone who films, uploads or distributes such videos, is guilty of disseminating pornography."

Despite the police's best efforts, the video is still available online.
