Bicycle invitational tournament to be held in Xiamen

This Sunday on 29th November 2009, a bicycle competition, the 2009 Golden Bridge Cross-Strait Bicycle Invitational Tournament, is going to be held on Huandao Road, Xiamen.

According to the press conference of the bicycle competition held on 24th November, about 300 participants from both sides of the Taiwan Straits will be participating in the competition.

The competition will start at the signboard of “One Country, Two Systems” which is near the bus stop of Yefengzhai on Huandao Road and end at the Asia Gulf Hotel. The length is 4 kilometers, and participants will have to ride 6 circles to complete the competition.

Hosted by the Xiamen Sports Association and undertaken by the Xiamen Bicycle Association, there will be 3 groups in the competition, Men’s Group, Women’s Group and Children’s Group.
