Loi Krathong Festival at Xiamen University

A Krathong floating activity for celebrating Loi Krathong Festival is going to be held at the Lian Xing Building, Xiamen University this Saturday night on 14th November.

Loi Krathong is a festival celebrated annually throughout Thailand, and it falls on the full moon of the 12th month in the traditional Thai lunar calendar. In the western calendar this usually falls in November.

Thai people believe that making a wish before floating a Krathong (lantern) will make their dreams come true!

If you want to be a part of this phenomenon, come and join in the activity. The Krathong can be purchased at the spot, and there also will be some Thai snacks at the activity.
