
The traditional Chinese New Year is approaching, as an annual entertainment programme during the Spring Festival, the lantern show will be held again at Bailuzhou Park as from 16th February 2010.
There will be 110 lanterns displayed on the lantern show. This year's exhibit area will be increased to 200,000 square meters compared to last version.
The same as last version, there will be some lanterns made by Taiwan artists shown at this year's lantern show.
The displayed lanterns for this year's cartoon zone will include Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf, My Life as McDull, Calabash Brother and Lotus Lantern.
Apart from lantern show, many other traditional activities and games will be available for the public, such as lantern lighting ceremony, lantern riddle, and small goods display.
According to the organizing committee, all the lanterns will be completed by Feb. 5 and the lighting ceremony will be on the night of Feb. 16.
