The sixth edition of the China (Xiamen) International Boat Show will be held at the Xiamen Marina in Wuyuwan Bay, Xiamen, China, between 8 and 11 November this year. It always provides a wonderful experience for both the boat industry and consumers alike. The excellent environment and innovative exhibition modes have garnered attention from those in the boat industry, service industry, consumers and experts both at home and abroad and many famous brands have now been attracted to the Chinese market as a result.
Xiamen Marina boasts one of the largest maritime boat exhibitions in the whole of China, with its large 300-berth capacity. There will be three sections to the show. The indoor section, in Blocks 4 to 6 of Xiamen Marina and covering some 5,000 square metres will house exhibits of technical equipment and a yacht club. The outdoor area, located at the Coastal Square in the Xiamen Marina and covering 20,000 square metres, will showcase yachts, sailing boats, parts and services. While, the on-water area with its numerous berths covering a total of 30,000 square metres, will be dedicated to sailing boats, yachts and test drives of some of the boats on display.
The show is being organised by the China Association of the National Shipbuilding Association (CANSI). Besides, the boat exhibits, there will be high-end luxury branded goods on display including helicopters and cars, amongst others. There will also be a bonded warehouse for storage of professional equipment.
Xiamen was one of the first four special economic zones (SEZ) in China and is located in southeastern China west iof the Taiwan Straits. One of the few municipalities enjoying independent status in state economic planning, Xiamen enjoys provincial level autonomy and local legislative power in economic administration. It is one of the most competitive cities in China.
Xiamen's port is one of the top 10 in China. It boasts 80 berths of various sizes and has navigation routes to over 60 ports in more than 40 countries and regions. With 62 international and domestic air routes opened, Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport is the main air hub in east China. The well-developed railway system links Xiamen to the rest of the country.
Feadship's Blue Sky
Azimut will be hosting an exclusive "owners' day" at the show. The largest yacht at the show will be Blue Sky, delivered in 2013 by Feadship.
