The first special track for mountain bikes at Xianyue Hill has finished on April 7, 2011, reports Xiamen Daily.

The track was built at the base of international standards. It is the only bike track located in a downtown area in all of China.

The track, 5.8 kilometers long and 3 meters wide, cost more than RMB 3 million. It connects Tianzhu Temple in the east with Xianyue village in the south. As a circular track, the square of Tianzhu Temple is the starting and end point.

Several bicyclists have experienced the track these days, a worker in the park of Xianyue Hill said. It took a bicyclist ten minutes or more to finish the track yesterday.

A relative principal in Huli district said that apart from the table tennis training centre and bike track, an international pulley base, leisure centre for citizens and teenagers' outward centre will be built at Xianyue Hill in the future.
