A belt-shaped children’s park, which will cover hundreds of thousands of square meters, will be built in Haicang District, mainly along the routes of the public bike sharing system in the district, according to xmnn.cn.

The park will be an unpowered, natural, ecological park that has interesting games and challenging tasks, which will provide physical and brain exercises for children.

The entertainment options will be designed in accordance with the park’s surroundings and the construction will start in Haicang Bay Park opposite the Cross-Straits Experience Hall of Information Consumption. The Experience Hall is the only such place in Xiamen where people can directly experience the benefits brought by the prospective products of information. It was established by people from the mainland and Taiwan and opened for a half-year trial on May Day this year.

The Haicang Tourism Group is soliciting name and logo ideas from the public for this planned children’s park. The winners will each get an award of 5,000 yuan.
