2014 Great Hakka Marathon held in Nanjing County, Fujian

On the morning of November 15th, the 2014 Great Hakka Marathon kicked off at 8:00 at Nanjing Hakka Tulou, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

A total of 320 runners from 30 countries and regions registered for this year's event.
 
The inaugural race included three categories: Full Marathon (42km), Half Marathon (21km) and 8km Fun Run. The marathon route took in the famous Hakka roundhouses (Tulou), followed ancient mountain paths, and passed through romantic village lanes and winding roads.

Zhao Ziyu claimed the championship in the men's full marathon 2014 Great Hakka Marathon
 
Zhao Ziyu from Xiamen Huaqiao University claimed the championship in the men's full marathon event with a time of 3 hours 13 minutes and 3 seconds.
 
Kauri Mari of Finland clinched the women's full marathon title with a time of 3 hours 54 minutes and 9 seconds.
 
As for the half marathon, Lin Yiqun won the men's title with 1 hour 33 minutes and 25 seconds, Visser Inge Jeanne claimed the women's first place spot with 01 hour 35 minutes and 32 seconds.
 
In the 8km Fun Run, Dong Jianwei won the men's title with 38 minutes and 24 seconds,  and Smollan Andrea claimed the women's title with 48 minutes and 8 seconds.
