The Mexican actress showed off her tiny waist on the red carpet recently. Yet the 48-year-old is not a gym devotee. The mother of one has said: 'I don't exercise... I just hold my body in a way that activates muscles all day long.'
While she is a fan of yoga, her work schedule - as well as starring in films such as Frida and making a guest appearance in TV's Ugly Betty, she also directs and produces - means it's often not possible to attend classes, so she practises on the run.
What to try: The stomach vacuum exercise helps create a sculpted, cinched-in midriff and can be done at any time of the day - try it waiting for the train or at the photocopier.
Stand up straight with your feet shoulder width apart. Slowly inhale as much air as possible, then start to exhale while clenching your stomach as tightly as you can. Envisage sucking your navel to your spine.
Hold this position for five to 20 seconds and repeat the exercise two or three times.
