The Oscar-winning actress recently appeared on the red carpet wearing a strapless gown that accentuated her perfectly toned arms. Hilary, 41, is an avid exercise fan, reportedly working out for up to four hours a day in preparation for some roles.

She's a keen runner and does Pilates twice a week to keep her posture and arms in shape. 
   
WHAT TO TRY:  
  
Bicep circles are great for firming the upper arms.

Stand with your legs slightly wider than hip-width apart, holding a 3.5 lb dumbbell eight or bottle of water in each hand. 
 
Keep your elbows bent and palms facing upwards. With your spine straight, squat by bending your knees, then circle your left hand upwards and inwards towards the shoulder (as if beckoning someone towards you). 
 
Reverse to lower the hand in the opposite circular motion. After 16 repetitions, switch sides and repeat.
