Hong Kong has more "SuperEntreprenuers" than anywhere else in the world, according to a recent report from the London-based Center for Policy Studies.

The Center identified nearly 1,000 SuperEntrepreneurs—those who have founded firms and earned at least one billion USD without any help from inheritance—from 53 countries who ranked on Forbes' list of the world's richest people from 1996 to 2010.

The goal was to identify which government and policy infrastructures best support people with "rags to riches" aspirations and gain their wealth, for the most part, through IT, biotech, finance or retail.

Hong Kong has the most self-made billionaires in the world—when considered as a percentage of total population—followed by Israel, the US, Switzerland and Singapore making up the top five. Taiwan came in at number eight in the rankings, with Japan rounding out Asia's presence on the list at number 15.

Thank god for those among us reading this in the depths of that space between two couch cushions where it's really hard to move from, the report is neatly wrapped up in this pleasing-to-the-eye infographic that sums up common characteristics of self-made billionaires and the countries that cultivate them.
