About Xiamen Hybird Sailing Club
Xiamen Hybrid Sailing Club was founded in Oct.2008 as China’s first training center that provides professional kitesurfing training. They also provide equipments leasing/maintenance for kitesurfing, windsurfing and related services such as rescue etc.
With its long sandy beaches and clear sea water, the island city of Xiamen claims one of the bestsites for kitesurfing and windsurfing in China. Xiamen has a moderate climate that is ideal for sea sports such as kitesurfing through large part of the year. From May to September the wind blows from southeast, while in the rest of the months the persistent strong north east wind dominants.
Kitesurfing Training Course
The training course content will include: Kite flying training, safety training, Self-rescue training, Launch & landing skills, water relaunch and water start.
Trainees have free access to a full set of equipment including kitesurfing harness, kites for training, 9 meter kites, 12 meter kites, surfboard, life jackets, and helmets.
Trainees can enjoy free inflating, shower, beach collaboration, sea rescue, and other services.
All courses will be conducted by internationally qualified licensed kitesurfing instructors. Coast collaboration staff will provide help all the way.
The training courses consist of 7-10 hour periods. After the training, trainees can grasp the basic knowledge and techniques of kite maneuver.
The club will provide trainees with follow-up mentoring after the training.
At the end of the training course, the trainees will be issued with an international kite surfing card.
