An artist's rendition of the Haicang Bay Park

The construction of Haicang Bay Park, involving a total investment of over 60 million yuan, is drawing to its close. Full range of lighting will shine from 7 Feb. 7, which will become a unique landscape in Haicang District and the longest zonal coastal park in Xiamen.

At present, landscape sculptures are being installed in each themed square. The works are expected to be completed by Spring Festival.

Featuring ocean styles, Haicang Bay Park is decorated with creel-shape yard lamps, signboards with painted marine life and special seats with fish patterns. The Trumpet-shell Square, where a winding path is embedded with trumpet shells, has become one of the most attractive scenic spot of the park.

Among all the squares, the No.3 square is the very place that demonstrates designers' inspiration the best. Visitors walking through it will experience the wonderful changing sceneries as they move on. Besides, visitors can jog along the timber boardwalk, taste Kungfu Tea in the tea house with Minnan features, and enjoy the Gezi opera in the outdoor theatre.
