MEGAN Gale is mightily unimpressed after boyfriend Andy Lee snapped off his two front teeth on an ice skating rink yesterday.

The radio funnyman and partner Hamish Blake were practising ice hockey when Lee slipped and smashed his chin.

"Megan was really angry when I told her because she said, 'Make sure you wear a mouth guard' before I left, so now she has major 'I told you so' rights, enough to last our lives, or however long we're together," he mumbled yesterday.

"Maybe it will be too much and I'll have to cut myself loose from her. Or maybe not - I don't think I'm going to leave her and she's slowly coming around to sympathising with me."

The 2DayFM drive pair have had to postpone plans to play half games for 24 local teams in South Australia, Victoria and NSW this weekend across rugby league, AFL, indoor cricket, Frisbee, swimming, boxing - and ice hockey.

"I was moving at about the speed of an elderly lady in a Zimmer frame when I slipped," Lee said.

"Instead of using my hands to break the fall, I used my chin and I'd like to say to any children reading this that you should use your hands."

A dentist capped one tooth which only half broke off while the other one will have to be replaced.

It was only last September Lee was thanking the heavens he didn't lose any teeth when he was heavily tackled and knocked out by a junior American football player whiling touring the US.

"I needed a few stitches . . . and was so happy my teeth weren't hurt - but karma has caught up with me," he said.
