Xilige aka Brother Sharp refuses help from Ningbo shelter

The Internet sensation, the "handsome" homeless vagabond from Ningbo called "Brother Sharp", first talked in public on March 2. He persisted to refuse help from the Ningbo shelter, and once even shed tears and shouted to the heavens

"Brother Sharp" is afraid of cameras and people

On Tuesday afternoon, the Oriental Hotline of Ningbo website published a video where they interviewed "Brother Sharp". According to the video, officials contacted the netizen "Old gluttonous cat", who first took photos of "Brother Sharp", and together they helped him.

However, in front of camera, the vagabond was so scared that he trembled. Because his accent was hard to recognize, the "Cat" became his translator. According to "Cat", he found and took care of "Brother Sharp" in 2008 which helped him win his trust.

"Brother Sharp" was afraid of so many people being around him and he did not understand why they kept "visiting" and taking his picture, said "Cat".

A staff member from the shelter said they should bring "Brother Sharp" back to help him because of his bad living conditions, but "Cat" insisted they should not do that because of his bad psychological condition. Suddenly, "Brother Sharp" yelled at the heavens and shed tears. Then, "Cat" took him away.

Please don't mess with his peaceful life

Watching tears from such a popular figure on the Internet, lots of netizens expressed sorrow about his situation. They hope officers do not "cage this free bird" and other curious people demand, "please don't mess with his peaceful life!"
