On March 6, 2010, Xiamen Dangdai Jewelry City, dubbed the “largest Jewelry City in Fujian Province”,  opened on the second floor of Fortune Plaza, Sheraton Hotel, near SM Mall in Xiamen.

The store belongs to the Xiamen Lead Estate Group and run by Xiamen Bao Heng Li Jewelry Co., Ltd. Covering a total area of 1500m2, it is said to be the largest jewelry city in the Haixi Economic Zone (west side of the Taiwan Strait).

A jade bracelet worth over 10 million yuan, a 2-million-yuan jade pendant, a 2.88-million-yuan jade necklace, and a 12.8-million-yuan emerald ring weighing 42.8 karats can be purchased at the store.

The store is targeting middle-to-high level customers and the products include Shoushan stone, jade, emerald, diamond, gold and other jewelry accessories.

“We are aiming to be the first boutique jewelry store on the west side of the Taiwan Strait with the most complete varieties and one-stop services,” said Huang Shaolin, general manager of the store, adding that the total value of the first batch of goods will surpass 100 million yuan.
