GWENT, BRITAIN - A MOTHER-OF-FOUR is facing jail for seducing a 13-year-old and sending him a series of late-night text messages to nickname "Rude Boy" on her mobile.

Kerry Lee, aged 25, was yesterday convicted of sexual activity with a child after a jury was shown her text messages to the schoolboy.

Brunette Lee sent the boy dozens of text messages calling for him to come round to her Bridgend home at 2am.
The court heard Lee then carried out sexual acts on the underage teenager - and said: "Do you want to sleep in my bed?"

Prosecutor Marion Lewis heard Lee saved his number on her phone as "Rude Boy" and sent 28 text messages to him in a week.

Mrs Lewis said: "He never sent her any text messages because he never had any credit. The way he would respond is to go over to her house."

But their relationship came to an end when the boy's shocked mother found love bites on his neck - and called police.

Mrs Lewis said: "The boy told police they had been boyfriend and girlfriend for about a week.

"He said the relationship started with her kissing him. She asked him whether he would like to come and sleep with her in her bed."

Newport Crown Court heard mother-of-four Lee had a partner but told the boy she wanted to split to be with him.

Appearing in court via video link, the boy said: "She arranged for me to sleep with her in her bed.

"She said to me "Do you want to sleep with me in my bed? Do you want to sleep with me?"

"She wanted me to have sex. She said she wanted to sleep with me."

The boy told the jury that Lee sent him 28 text messages during a week last May.

He said: "She would send me messages and say that she loved me and all that.

"She would say: "Pop down about two or three in the morning." But I was sleeping."

Lee, of Wildmill, Bridgend, denied four charges of sexual activity with a child.

She claimed police the boy "had a crush" on her - and made up the allegations after she rejected him.

But she was found guilty of four counts of sexual activity with a child after the jury took just an hour to reach their verdicts.

Judge Keith Thomas remanded her in custody to be sentenced later, but said: "A custodial sentence is virtually inevitable."

She was ordered to register as a sex offender.
