Fujian Province's petty trade activities with Taiwan increased rapidly in the first two months, according to statistics from Fujian Entry-Exit Inspection & Quarantine Bureau.
During the Jan.-Feb. period, the petty trade value with Taiwan via Jinjiang Customs reached US$12.3 million, more than ten times of a year ago, while that via Fuqing Customs, Putian Customs and Fuzhou Huangqi Customs hit US$5.05 million, US$1.46 million US$494,800, respectively.
Last month, the import and export value in Fujian Province totaled US$6.77 billion, up 65.3% year on year, but down 16.3% month on month.
