Yes, there's a bit of good news for all those disappointed with the controversial middle-class wife being taken off the internet. Savita Bhabhi, the seductive and provocative housewife is now returning, this time as Sheetal Bhabhi.
C M Jain, a regular visitor on the website, will be directing the film. “The savitabhabhi website was very popular and everyone was aware of it. The plot interested me and I am certain that it will interest everyone,” he told Mumbai Mirror.
Jain started shooting the film six months back and the film should be out by March end.
The film will be called sheetalbhabhi.com. The name has been changed from savitabhabhi.com, which was one of the most popular and raunchy Indian 'porn' sites.
The stars, however, are not that well known, understandably so. The film stars Heena Rehman as Sheetal Bhabhi ( of I Am Proud To Be an Indian fame, co-starring Sohail Khan); Jatin Grewal will play her husband (he was cast in Prakash Jha's flop Rahul).
The movie also stars Shakti Kapoor and Vikas Kalantri in pivotal roles. “My movie is about a wife who hits on her husband’s friends. In the end it is revealed that the couple has planned this entire drama in order to avenge their friends,” Jain told the tabloid.
However, there is a twist in the tale. According to Jain, the film is not going to be explicit like the website. In fact, he says he has only used a few punch lines from the website character in his film.
“It is a comedy. There is nothing pornographic or sleazy in the film. The motif of a woman obsessively seducing men will be writ large, but there is nothing vulgar in the film,” Jain said.
The original site was banned two years back by the Indian government but it continues to be one of the most popular Indian websites and the comic has been printed in several Indian languages.
