A group of students in Dalian shot their graduation photos using a unique backdrop: their school, engulfed in flames. Their photos went viral online, being forwarded 3,000 times in two hours, reports the Guangzhou Daily.

City College of Dalian University of Technology is situated next to a warehouse. On Sunday, the warehouse caught fire, and the flames spread to a student dormitory nearby. The fire was taken care of handily by the fire department, but many students first had the opportunity to use the burning dormitory as a backdrop for their graduation photos.

Netizen "Brent-J" posted a photo showing students using the flaming dormitory as a backdrop.

"It's too big of a coincidence to see the university on fire today, as it's also graduation day," said Brent-J. "The students are filled with love in seeing the school bur."
