22 pairs of bullet trains to run on Xiamen-Shenzhen High-speed Railway

New railway to cut travel time between Xiamen & Shenzhen to 3hrs and 42mins

The 502.4-km Xiamen-Shenzhen High-Speed Railway is scheduled to open on 28th December this year. 4 pairs of trains will start from Xiamen North Railway Station and the travel time between the 2 cities will be less than 4 hours, with a minimum of 3 hours and 42 minutes.

According to reports, 22 pairs of trains will run on the railway after its opening.

After its opening, 8 pairs of trains will run between the Fuzhou South Railway Station and Shenzhen North, including trains No. D2295/6, D2297/8, D2301/2, D2303/4, D2305/6, D2311/2, D2308/7, D2310/09; 4 pairs between Xiamen North and Shenzhen North, including D2315/6, D2317/8, D2319/20, D2313/4; and 2 pairs between Longyan and Shenzhen North, including D2351/2 and D2353/4.

In addition, 1 pair of trains will also run between Nanchang West and Shenzhen North, 1 pair between Nanjing South and Shenzhen North, 4 pairs between Shanghai Hongqiao and Shenzhen North, 1 pair between Hangzhou East and Shenzhen North, and 1 pair between Wenzhou South and Shenzhen North
