New book 'Fujian on stamps' issued in Xiamen

A new book named Fujian on stamps was issued in Xiamen on June 14 which is also Chinese Cultural Relics Day.

A theme lecture on the book was also hosted by the History and Study Committee of the CPPCC Fujian Committee and Fujian People’s Press.

Fujian on stamps has been compiled by the History and Study Committee of the CPPCC Fujian Committee and Fujian Postal Company.

The book has 240,000 words and showcases the 50 sets of stamps which present the natural scenery and humanities of Fujian.

Guo Zhenjia, vice-Chairman of CPPCC addressed the ceremony. “Though very small in size, stamps can serve as a visiting card for Fujian to the world,” said Guo.

Thanks to the new book, people can experience the charm of Fujian which boasts blessed mountains, blessed heaven and blessed earth.
