Train ticketing service at Wuyi Cultural Square to be canceled from Feb. 4

The southern part of Xiamen Railway Station will be put into operation starting from February 4th
       
The southern part of Xiamen Railway Station will be put into operation starting from February 4th, and the train ticketing service at the Xiamen Wuyi Cultural Square near the Westin Xiamen will be canceled on the same day. 
 
The train ticketing service at the square was launched after the Xiamen Railway Station was closed for renovation last March. 
 
A total of 31 pairs of trains will stop at the newly launched station each day, with 17 pairs of normal speed trains and 14 pairs of bullet trains. The daily passenger flow is expected to reach 30,000 and 50,000 for normal and bullet trains, respectively. 
 
Here is guide note for passengers at the Xiamen Railway Station: 
 
1) Getting to the new station 
   
There are two new underpasses, which are located near the Xiamen Plaza Hotel and the Xiamen World Trade Centre Shopping Mall, for passengers to get easy access to the south station. 
  
2) Train ticket purchase  
 
 
There are 17 ticketing windows, 15 self-help ticketing machines and 15 automatic ticketing machines 
 
3) Security checks 
  
         
4) Waiting hall on second floor   
   
  
The whole second floor, covering more than 7,000 square meters, will be used as a waiting hall, which has over 1,400 seats. 
  
5) Ticket checks 
  
    
5 check-in channels will be set up with 4 automatic check-in channels and a manual channel. 
   
6) Getting on trains
               
 
3 platforms and 6 tracks will be put into use for 31 pairs of trains/day
