More than 300,000 public bikes, operated by five different companies, flooded Xiamen after the first batch of them appeared in December last year.

Nearly half of the public bikes are ofo bikes -- the bright yellow bicycles with the lowest deposit rate among its competitors of only RMB 99. Competitors include Mobike, Hellobike, Baicycle, and U-Bicycle.
Ofo will run a series of promotions for their convenient, low-carbon mode of transportation. This April, ofo bikes are free to rent every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

How to rent the bikes?
→Scan QR code to download the app
→Pay the deposit (RMB 99)
→Complete real name confirmation
→Type in plate number on the bike
→ Get four-digit password to unlock the bike

* If you're a student here in China, you can ride the bikes around campus without a deposit-all you need to do is to upload a photo of your student ID.

Rental fee:
RMB 1 every hour, the fee is capped at RMB 2 per ride
