Twin Pandas
On May 13th, 2018, the twin pandas who settled down in the Ling Ling International Circus early this May began welcoming visitors. They are named "Gu Zhui"/古锥 and "Gu Yi"/古意, which mean "cuteness" and "hospitality" in the Minan dialect pronunciation.

The Panda House at the Ling Ling International Circus has an area of 3,000 square meters.

Xiamen-made Driverless Bus
Chinese internet giant Baidu signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Xiamen King Long United Automotive Industries. The agreement commits the two organizations to work on commercial driverless vehicles as part of a project named the "Apollo Project."

Currently, Apollo minibuses are undergoing tests in Xiamen's Software Park Zone Three. The cooperative agreement between Baidu and King Long is expected to result in the small-scale mass production of 100 Apollo minibuses by the end of July 2018. The driverless vehicles will begin trial operation as part of the "Last-one-kilometer" Project, which aims to automate vehicle transit in semi-closed or enclosed areas
