Xiamen's elevated footpaths from Huweishan to Guanyinshan

Construction on a newly planned elevated footpath network, which will connect Huweishan Mountain and Guanyinshan Dream Coast, was launched at Huweishan Mountain in September this year. The project on the Huweishan section is expected to be completed and put into service in January 2019. 
 
The network of footpaths will bring the city's residents and visitors into the mountains and connect the vibrant cityscape with the surrounding natural landscape. The project is scheduled to be complete and open to the public by the end of October 2019.

* Seven footbridges
> The Cruise Center-Huwei Mountain section will feature a tower-shaped spiral footbridge.
> The Huwei Mountain-Xianyue Mountain section will feature a suspension footbridge.
> The Tangbian crossroads will feature an arched footbridge.
> The Yuan Mountain-Chenggong Avenue section will feature a footbridge built across a railway line.
> The Xueling Mountain-Hutou Mountain section will feature a footbridge built across Jinshang Road.
> The Jin Mountain-Hubian Reservoir section will feature a special sightseeing platform.
> The Xianyue Mountain Valley will feature a stressed ribbon footbridge 27 meters above the valley bottom.
* Elevators at outlets with high height differences
* Fourteen rest stations along the footpath featuring toilets and vending machines.
