The quirky contest was held at an altitude of over 3000 metres on the Grande Motte glacier at Tignes resort over the weekend.
Enthusiasts clad in only swimwear and ski boots took to the nine degree delicious slopes for the fun contest.
Ski gloves, eye protection and sun cream were also allowed at the competition, which has become an annual event in the French resort.
Tignes is the second resort to open for summer skiing after Les 2 Alpes last week.
There are 20 kilometres of pistes, 12 ski lifts and 750 vertical metres at Tignes.
The glacier will be open for skiing and snowboarding until the end of August and neighbouring Val d'Isere will open next weekend.
