Girl promises to marry anyone who would offer help to sister
A young woman has promised to marry any person who would help cure her elder sister in
Yang Fei, 22, said in a note posted on a website that her family would not be able to afford the huge medical bills for her sister Yang Yaoxian's treatment any more. They have already spent more than 160,000 yuan ($US23,438) on hospital bills.
Yang's sister, who is suffering from scrofula and a conjunctiva meningitis, is critically ill. She runs up a bill of about 3,000 yuan a day.
Yang, 22, who graduated from a college in Guangxi, said she cared little about the age and appearance of her future husband if he could help her pay her sister's medical fees.
