Tingxi Town has rich resources of hot springs

Tingxi Town of Tong’an District, regarded as the north gate of Xiamen, will be forged into a hot springs resort, according to the official site of the Xiamen Environmental Protection Bureau, where the environmental impact assessment of the project is being made.

According to the plan, Tingxi Town will be forged into a hot springs resort town with the theme of “healthy regimen”, featuring unique exotic flavours.

The planned land area of the project will be 265 hectares (2,650,000 sq m).

The whole planned area will be divided into four parts, which are Xiyuanxi (Xiyuan River) Spa Area, Mountain Vacation Area, Tingxi Commercial &Residential Tourism Area, Indigenous Villagers’ Living Area and Yangmashan Sports Park.

All industrial enterprises in the planned area will be relocated, according to the project plan.
