1). There is duty-free & low tax policy for importing of some products such as machinery, equipment, raw materials, spare parts, freight vehicles, food ingredients used for businesses; and duty-free for limited quantity of the imported goods for personal consumptions.

2). In additional, there are bonded factories, bonded warehouses located in free trade zones for companies whose products are re-exported to other countries.

4). Allow the free transfer of capital and profits of foreign-funded enterprises; exempt interest income tax for foreign depositors who deposit in banks within the special economic zone; exempt interest income tax for concessionary loans given by foreign banks.

Foreign-funded or joint venture banks are allowed to be set up within the special economic zone, under the approval of bank headquarters, and exempt its industrial and commercial tax five years from the opening of the banks.
