Xiamen sets up Association on Tobacco Control to promote smoking ban

    On 29th May this year, Zhongshan Road officially became the first smoke-free commercial street in Xiamen. Man in Xiamen mimics TV drama to steal 1 million yuan worth of jewelry

    A man was arrested recently, only 5 days after he stole 1 million yuan worth of jewelry from a shop on Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, according to xmnn.cn. The suspect, surnamed Xiong, is a 29-year-old man from Guizhou. He studied the rigorous stealing plot from TV dramas in order to steal the jewelry this month, according to his confession. He did a site inspection days before he sneaked into the shop after climbing to the third floor via a tree and an air conditioner.
