Public-bike system on Xiamen Island to support normal E-Tong cards soon

    The public bike system on Xiamen Island will soon be upgraded and is expected to support normal e-tong cards by August 25 this year, according to the Xiamen Public Bike Sharing Management Co., Ltd., the system's operator. At present, those who want to access the public bike system on Xiamen have to apply for a card specially designed for the system. A 400 yuan deposit and another minimum charge of 50 yuan are required to apply for a bicycle rental card.
