Singapore-based BreadTalk Group unveiled its 287th bakery in Wucun, Xiamen, reported the Southeast Express on 16th July.
Founded in 2000 and listed on the SGX in 2003, BreadTalk has brought about a renaissance in the bread business, innovating and creating distinctive flavors to satisfy customers palate literally! This has earned the global bakery chain numerous awards and growing popularity with customers both in Singapore and other countries and regions, including China, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Kuwait, Thailand, India, Korea, Oman, Korea, and Bahrain.
Since 2000, BreadTalk has flapped its wings across 13 countries, leaving its mark with more than 300 boutique bakeries and 40 food atriums and restaurants, supported by a global staff strength of 5000 employees. Each BreadTalk bears the urban, clear glass, clean cut look punctuated subtly with detailing of contrasting colours of artworks, unique to each locale.
On 17th February, 2007, BreadTalk Group opened its first outlet at SM shopping mall in Xiamen. In the past 3 years, it has gained popularity with Xiamen residents with its delicate and delicious products, like Pork Floss and Indian Naan (or Indian Flat Bread). The 287th bakery is opened to meet greater demand and show gratitude to Xiamen residents.
