Odenwalder - the Xiamen German sausage people

What’s better than a rave party and great food after a fierce soccer game? On the Saturday night of 21st June, WOX and XISC will be celebrating the ‘After Gulanyu Cup Soccer Tournament’ on the Huandao Road beach.

The party fare will be German style with various sorts of chunky meats, food and BBQ. The highlight of the culinary delights during the party will be colossal roasted pig legs which will be served to the soccer players and their guests.

All the food will be provided by Oldernwalder - the most famous sausage people in town. Their newly opened bar and restaurant on Minzu Road near the Xiamen University area has already managed to gain major popularity and adoration from visitors.

Odenwalder is a low mountain range in Germany which is noted for its abundant virgin forest, spectacular canyons and ancient castles. It is also home to many famous beer brands as well as authentic recipes of Germany cuisine. Using the place’s traditional beer brewing methods, Odenwalder has developed many beer styles using the best local ingredients, organic hops from Europe and special yeast.

While it does serve a selection of premium beers, mixes and other alcoholic beverages, the food offered – consisting of appetizers, mains and desserts – are definite highlights here. What you can find on the menu at Odenwalder are dishes that provide large helpings of authentic German cuisine as well as international dishes and seasonal specialities. Culinary delights include Ragout Fin Chicken with Bread, Chili Con Carne, Hungarian Goulash, Schnitzel, Cordon Bleu as well as a slew of fantastic sausage sandwiches.

@Carlito Yes, they did say in the article that they provide international dishes as well as authentic German dishes. German food is kinda unknown in China, so they have to throw in some international food in there that people know as crowd pleasers until German food becomes more popular.
