Langham Place, Xiamen launches new set lunch menu

Ming Court, the signature Chinese restaurant of Langham Place, Xiamen has launched a new set lunch menu. Created by newly appointed Chinese Master Chef Cai Chao Hui, all the meals on the menu are under 100 yuan, and a 7-course meal includes cold dish, soup, dim sum, str-fry, main course, dessert and fruits. The price for two diners is only 168 yuan.

The affordable menu offers diners a chance to sample a selection of Cantonese BBQ, and features a range of soup including Stewed Chicken with Chinese Herbs and Minced Beef with Fish Maw, as well as over 20 dim sum options such as Shrimp Shao-mai, Crispy Durian Cake, and Shrimp Dumpling. The stir-fry choices are Shrimp with Egg, Beef with Mushroom, Shredded Duck with Vegetable and Fried Fish Fillet, while the main courses offer Beef Chow Fun, Fried Noodle and Fried Rice. The meal will be completed with decadent desserts and fresh fruits.

About Chinese Master Chef Cai Chao Hui
Chef Cai Chao Hui, whose home town is Fujian, has lived in Hong Kong for a long time and his cooking style is mainly influenced by Cantonese cuisine. He worked in many reputable 5 star hotels in Asia, including Hyatt Regency Kyoto in Japan, Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel, Hong Kong Mandarin Oriental Hotel and The Ritz-Carlton, Beijing.

With many years of overseas working experience and his passion for seafood, he has published five bilingual cookbook, in which he shared his recipes of fishes, clams, shrimps and crabs, dried seafood as well as Abalone and Sea Cucumber. This series of cookbooks is very popular in Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan and western countries. With over 20 years experience in the culinary field, his joining in the culinary team of Langham Place, Xiamen will surely bring new ideas and innovation.
