"Ma La Sun", a popular millet wine in Taiwan
The "Ma La Sun", a popular millet wine in Taiwan, has opened its first franchise store in Xiamen, which is also the first store on the Chinese mainland.
The "Ma La Sun" millet wine was made famous by Taiwan's blockbuster hit "Cape No. 7" last August. It is a traditional beverage among Taiwan's indigenous people, as it is good in taste and delicate in bottle design.
In fact, Xiamen Kaisheng Wines, the exclusive distributor of Ma La Sun on the Chinese mainland in 2008, has begun to sell Ma La Sun at the first half of this year through some imported food outlets in Xiamen.
With the opening of the first Ma La Sun franchise store on the mainland, more varieties of Ma La Sun millet wine will make their debuts in the mainland market.
According to the Taiwan Wine company, Ma La Sun has a mature sales network in Taiwan thanks to its numerous franchise stores. Soon, there will be more franchise stores opened on the mainland.
At present, the site preparation for Quanzhou's first Ma La Sun franchise store has got under way.
